To qualify for graduation, students must submit a degree application for the term in which they will complete all course and testing requirements and they must complete all requirements by the last day of classes for that term. The graduation fee must be paid online prior to submitting the graduation application; students should attach a copy of their receipt to their application. Applications and fees are due by the dates below.
Degrees are conferred three times per year, at the end of each semester, as indicated on the academic calendar. Students who complete requirements in May Term, or any other part of the summer semester, will be August graduates but may participate in the May commencement ceremony.
Students who fail to complete requirements by the last day of the term or who do not apply to graduate until after their last semester of enrollment will have their degree conferred during the next conferral period. Student who have not filed a graduation application will also not be eligible to participate in commencement ceremonies.
